Dr. Jan-Willem Boiten, senior program manager at Lygature for data infrastructure programs such as TraIT (Translational Research IT), a Dutch national initiative to establish an IT infrastructure for translational research. He also manages Data4lifesciences, the national research IT program between the Dutch UMCs, BBMRI-NL 2.0, a Dutch national roadmap project, and Health-RI, the emerging national overarching health infrastructure. Within Europe, he is a Work Package leader in IMI FAIRplus and ImmuneImage, and task leader in the H2020 cluster projects CORBEL and EOSC-Life. He received his PhD in chemistry from the University of Nijmegen in 1995. After that Jan-Willem held various research informatics managerial positions in the pharmaceutical industry till he joined Lygature’s predecessor CTMM (Center for Translational Molecular Medicine) in 2011.
