Why is the development of AI in pathology essential and why will it change the pathologist' work for the better? Check out the video below.
In this video, Peter van Woensel (Patient Representative), Solène Kammerer-Jacquet (Associate Professor in Pathology), and Jeroen van der Laak (Professor of Computational Pathology, Bigpicture Coordinator) explain their perspectives on the digital transformation and AI development in pathology.
Bigpicture is a public-private partnership funded by the EU Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI). The project will boost the development of artificial intelligence in pathology by building a central repository of digital pathology slides in collaboration with academic institutions, small- and medium-sized enterprises, public organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and a large network of partners.
