Description

Members of the UK’s National Pathology Imaging Co-Operative (NPIC) will present a summary of their work in the field of Quality Assurance in Digital Pathology. This webinar will provide the attendee with a more detailed understanding of some of the elements in the digital pathology imaging chain that contribute to variation in the digital image including staining, scanning and display, and how these elements can affect image quality. There will also be the opportunity to provide interactive feedback on the information shown as well as share your own opinion in this area. 

Target audience

Those working in or intending to work in digital pathology, including those who are contributing to the Bigpicture repository as it will raise collective understanding of quality. The aim of this talk is too raise the awareness of quality and help to change the culture in digital pathology (one of the key themes of the Bigpicture project.)
