Thank you for attending the Annual Meeting 2022

21 February, 2022

On 2-4 February, Bigpicture organized its Annual Meeting. The meeting was held completely online due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nonetheless, 184 people registered for the event to mark the project's achievements, engage in in-dept discussions, and look ahead at what is coming in the next year.

The event kicked-off with an opening speech of Julie Boisclair and Jeroen van der Laak. Jeroen: “I am confident that we will achieve our Bigpicture goals and push the use of AI in pathology to a new dimension. I truly believe in our vision and if you are not yet completely Bigpicture-minded, I hope that after this Annual Meeting you will!”

The event counted 5 workshops on Honest Broker, Quality Management, Data Architecture, Data Protection, Data submission, and Businessmodel & Sustainability. Workpackages shared their progress, and Pierre Moulin presented Bigpicture's Critical Path in the coming year.

Although the meeting was held online and networking is a challenge, there was plenty of time for some social interaction in the virtual coffee break areas. Also, on Thursday we organized a virtual get-together after the meeting; in several themes, guests could explore virtual worlds and participate in fun activities!

The Annual Meeting was a great success as the project relies on the collaboration of all its partners. Let's keep the conversation going, because we all are Bigpicture!
