Governance
Bigpicture is jointly led by Jeroen van der Laak, Katrien Grünberg (both from Radboud University Medical Centre, The Netherlands), Julie Boisclair (Novartis, Switzerland), and Anna-Lena Frisk (Janssen, Belgium). The consortium is governed through a transparent internal structure and guided by external advisory boards. Our multi-stakeholder nature is leveraging both public and private expertise, at the forefront of knowledge.

Managing Board
The Managing Board focuses on managerial decision and project monitoring. It is composed of:
- The Management Team, consisting of the public coordinators and the private project leaders (EFPIA), responsible for overseeing the project’s progress.
- The Project Management Office, in charge of ensuring that the project is smoothly implemented and that its results are promptly disseminated.
- Work Package Leaders: each work package is led by a public and an EFPIA partner, responsible for day-to-day management and coordination of their respective activities.

Advisory Boards
- The Multi-stakeholder Advisory Board is ensuring that the Bigpicture consortium receives independent input: it consists of regulatory, cyber security, clinical, industrial and academic experts and patient advocates responsible for providing advice and feedback on Bigpicture activities and results.
- The Ethics Advisory Board is monitoring and assessing the ethical and legal approaches of Bigpicture. It includes international ethical, legal and societal experts and a patient representative, with experience in relevant fields such as data sharing and data protection.

Node Coordination Board
The Node Coordination Board will be in charge to safeguard the quality and diversity of the data delivered by the third parties. To ensure smooth integration of the different contributions, each node is formed around a theme, six containing clinical data and one containing non-clinical data. The board consists of node coordinators and two additional veterinary pathologist EFPIA representatives.
